Our approach is to blend academics and play.
The highly experienced staff in the kindergarten section ensures there is a
balance between academics and play.
A typical school day still includes the classics: circle time, sharing and free
play. Our KG also offers hands-on maths and science activities, English and
Arabic lessons. The focus is on learning through games, movement, art
projects and nature studies.
Children are given the opportunity to practice their social skills. They learn
how to take turns, converse with other children, ask questions, wait for
people to answer and respond.
Children work on their fine motor skills. They acquire phonemic awareness
and sound-letter recognition, the understanding that each letter makes its
All these opportunities give them a chance to have social experiences and
social interactions with other children. This sets them up to be a classroom
where they have to move as a group, take turns and follow routine.
Children are exposed to a variety of different skills and contact knowledge
like numbers, letters, shapes, colours and creative exploration.
In the later year, children are given a lot of writing opportunities in a
context in which they are playing and exploring.
